Haunted House No More
Reverberating eerie noise
Interspersed with tormenting voice
Always lamenting like that of sorrowful boys---
Oh, haunted house… you allow children not to rejoice!
Echoing agonizing wails
Constantly lingers midst cries of whales
Terrorizing passers-by who are on the trails---
Oh, haunted house… your mournful song prevails!
Beckoning conservationists to behold
Antique treasure to be preserved from cold
Calling now for the next generations to uphold---
Oh, haunted house… may your mystery as a legacy unfold!
Standing as an edifice of horror and fear
Doomed with gloom against glow of wisdom cheer
Surpassing museum with its precious price, verily dear---
Oh, haunted house… I pray that you miraculously steer our tear!
Transformed for vibrant worship
Toward Praising God* along jubilant fellowship
Anchored upon supplication midst triumphant leadership---
Oh, haunted house no more... rebuilt by blest radiant discipleship!
*Psalm 150:6 - Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
