Haunt Me No More

Haunt me no more

Your words will haunt me no more
They will not close me in, I will not shut the door
I will not let them tear me down
I will heal from tears, I will not drown
I release the toxins that have plagued me my whole life
I will give you no more power in this ongoing strife
I will take the wrongful blame and toss it in the wind to cease
I will protect my inner being for positive outcome to increase
I know who I am, it is not what my child ears heard you say!
You cannot return me to that dreadful place today!
For I am free…I have found my light, my purposeful way!
