Harvest Star

Asters wear a coat - yellow, white or blue
Elegant wish of faith perennial,
Autumn decorations on garden avenues -
From fall festivals or centennials -
Charming harvest star winking through the dew.

Two legends born upon Greek shores
Tell the story of bright Aster's birth -
Tears of a goddess - star shaped flowers born -
Or stardust sprinkled upon the earth 
Where Asters bloom forevermore.
