Hard Decisions
People find tough decisions hard to make
But each involving choice has its reward
That supersedes the price of the sacrifice,-
A deserved prize that the soft cannot afford.
A lot of will is required to oppose
The urges that entertain the body,
The thrills that tempt the frail soul
That relishes the unprintable bawdy.
Average folks follow the urges of their simple souls
And end up chasing the wind of their brief appetites
That never outgrow the forced graces of the aging time,
And thus remain Lilliputians obsessed with petite trites.
