Harbingers of Spring
Snowdrops, daffodils, and tulips; harbingers of spring,
gather to announce life’s rebirth, fueled by sunshine.
Nature’s plants get renewed, and songbirds sing nesting songs,
rejoicing as April showers ink a brown Earth green.
Unfolding their leaves, trees start crocheting canopies,
creating shadows dappled with patches of sunlight.
Wildflowers bring color to the scene, displacing white,
spring summons change, days last longer, and nights grow shorter.
