Happy Wife Happy Life

We finish each other’s sentences
And laugh at his and hers silly jokes
We anticipate one another’s needs
Taking for granted that it’s just so

I try to act surprised
When you throw out of the blue
Now and then throughout the day
Those sweet little I love you’s

We can keep no secrets
From each other
Above it all
We’re best of friends

You scratch my back
And I scratch yours
I love you so
And you love me

At the end of the day
There’s nowhere
We’d rather be
Than by each other’s side

Always it amazes me
How you can be more
Lovingly predictable
Than the sun above

A hug a nibble
A kiss goodnight
I’ll miss you and
See you in the morning
