Happy Together
Let’s whisper and giggle
Through the darkest night
Follow the stars
With a twinkle in our eyes
Let’s plant all our flowers
In the center of our hearts
Welcome each season
With reflections of hope
Let’s smile at the sunshine
Who seems so alive
With its caress of warm lemon
Falling over our lives
Let’s listen to the birdsong
The wind in the willows
Pray for God’s grace to breath
Psalms through the leaves
Let’s make a snow angel
When the world is full of wonder
Covered in fresh, white flakes
Who seem to still every worry
Let’s speak to the rabbits
Laughing at their joy
As they seem to hop so gloriously
A journey of fanciful jumps
Let’s share all our moments
With the earth’s amazing marvels
Coloring our wildest dreams
In melodies of glorious rhythms
Let’s never forget that together
We can challenge the sunset
Promise faith to every night
And know what devotion brings
With this note of affection and love
I hope you will know you’re my light from above
Shining through the darkness and dread
Filling my heart with a sense of acceptance
I love you now and I’ll love you forever
