Happy Birthday, Mom

Today is my mom’s 107th birthday She’s been gone for sixty-five years Everyday, with love, I think of her, And, I fight back those tears often. She was a gem, a treasure, you see, The finest mom any boy could’ve had She was always thinking of me. Thanks, Caren. I really do think of my mom every day. She was an incredibly fine woman and mother! She really deserved to live much longer, but it just wasn't to be so.

My Mum was born in 1909, May Annie Wilson Larner. I wish I had penned this poignant, beautiful tribute to her. I am so sorry you lost your Mum at such a young age, Milt. Your love and respect for your lovely Mum are everlasting, as is hers for you. I cannot think of a better birthday present for your Mum (Elizabeth) Than the tribute you have sent to her today.

Thank you. She was a very special person to me. When a boy of 15 loses his mother it's something that he never gets over.
