Their hands touched occasionally, He was tall and handsome, She looked lovely as a peach. They felt the passion as they kissed, But often, love dissipated, Like clouds that came and went. Of course, they preferred the joy, Though sadness visited Like waves, occasionally rough, But mostly smooth. they learned to be strong, Even as the breezes blow. Still, they danced on lawns. Or soft yellow sand, Kissed, hugged, or enjoyed a swim, Till finally, they tied the knot And kept their hearts afloat.

A sweet little poem on the vagaries of love. Winds can blow, but love thrives at the end. Enjoyed the sweet conclusion of the poem, dear Victor.

Life is good always. I did nnot say “happy”.. we must maintain an attitude of Gratitude. In relationships, times may get rough. Being marriedd is a great gift, isnt it! Pangie

Dear Victor, so good to see you post again, I absolutely love the way youve written this as always, made me think that relationships are never always calm and steady, sometimes there will be moments when love too is tested but true love always finds their way back and embrace each other in the most selfless manners! Pleasure reading this, “ Still, they danced on lawns. Or soft yellow sand, Kissed, hugged, or enjoyed a swim,” the imagery! So stunning! Sending you light always~

A lovely write. True happiness is not found with perfect days but amidst sadness, rough breezes, and yes, surf and turf qnd tying the knot.

This is such a deep write conveying the complexities of a relationship and how it has several crescendos of highs & lows... Your descriptions have woven a brilliant tapestry of storytelling skills and there's a sense of serenity here. In the end, they found their home and a unified heartbeat of love for their own souls! Beautifully crafted, loved reading this. Sending light and best wishes to you always ~

You have captured young love and the joys of a relationship to be in. Being young and full of energy are days that I miss Victor. My picture is when I was 19 in high school now I am 64 will be 65 in June, boy do I miss those early years of my life. Life just moves along and before you know it, it is almost over. This brought me back in time Victor thanks for bringing some of those memories back to me. Blessings my friend and hope you are doing well...
