Happily Divorced

Always so... cordial
  Unfailingly... polite
    Cold-as-ice... phony smiles
            plastered to our faces

Tedious, boring... but not unpleasantly so
  nodding, agreeing... with nothing in particular

Infernos of hatred raging within us
  probing, never piercing, civility's placid surface
