Hands of Time
If time had the reverse gear I’d go back to when going back was not even part of my vocabulary
just a few seconds away from the existence of my sanity
just a minute before reality
Proved to be friends with
gravity dragging the breathing life out of me
Coating it with sand tying by hands
Leaving me unable to stand
A time to many is a strand
Of what was ,failing to reconcile with now and yes
Misguided the reality
Inturn enjoyed bending my-normal to a shape I am too finding difficulty to describe or withstand
It’s a shame that the clock of history has no reverse gear.
Without thinking twice I would turn the hands of time
And every happy thought would be mine
