Handheld Horror........ the 9-11 Video Tapes

pleading voices, begging Angels to intercede, the dark winter is upon us, with no escape muted screams mingle with thunderous earthquakes of glass and metal, as lives crumble to dust.... unseen tears vaporize, as Heaven shows no mercy last thoughts, final prayers gone gone silent death is all I hear all I hear

James, you portrayed the event magnificently. Even to that downward line at the end. What a great write! andrea

Ways to kill other people have become much more cynical. The man who sent others to death writes poems himself. All this is beyond the bounds of universal norm & any understanding. Your poem is written impressively & it arouses strong feelings. Sorry for my congrats being out of place. Oleg

Jimbo, 9/11 is still a dark stain on the carpet of our social memory. And this write make us live it a little longer. Well writ, and a good read. Merry Christmas, my brother

Sad but well written. You have said so much, brought back so many memories of the loss of Americans and the vulnerability of America. God bless us all. This is a great poem and an appropriate time to post to remind us to take a moment out of our busy lives and pray for those families left behind having lost loved ones. Merry Christmas, Jimbo and Happy 2010. Lovingly, Dane Ann
