Hallways
From the looks,
The stares,
And the uncomfortable glares;
A target for the diamond eyed flares.
The struggle,
The fight,
The red in the sleepless nights.
Reaching; so far away,
Falling into the next cold turn of the page.
Holding of small hands;
Tears drip, both wailing.
Hanging; suspending this far up,
But never had this fear of dangling.
The fear,
That fear,
This fear,
So much to lose;
A million and one eyes looking up at you.
