Halloween Tragedy

HALLOWEEN TRAGEDY
There was a young lad, Joe Keating Disappeared whilst trick or treating The poor lad took flight One Halloween night Due to severe overeating. As he made his way through the streets Each house that he called on had treats He should have said no Or taken it slow But he had a weakness for sweets He stuffed all they gave him and soon, Puffed up like a gas-filled balloon, He floated on high, Right up to the sky And now he’s the man in the moon. 9th October 2020 Halloween Limerick Contest Sponsor - Tania Kitchin

Visions of a Billy Bunter lookalike come to mind,Bryn. Funny and competently ambitious with three verses of fun and great flow.
