Halloween Tale
"The eerie hours will strike tonight,
when raging ghouls can dig and claw
on alleys dim ... all robed in black;
it’s Pumpkin fright, until the crack
of holy dawn when even they
will bring old sickles to ensnare.
Take caution not to walk outside,
where giant rats and bats invade
all corners of a darkened road,
and vampires' hissing fangs abound;
for Hallow creatures in the gloom
transform, disturbing flight of stars .
Think not to venture out this night,
but stay in safe from ghostly whips;
for all who dare to tempt the fate
will find themselves before wired graves"...
a story read from children’s books
while children grin,” let’s trick or treat!”
