Halloween Kitty Cat

                          It was Halloween,
         I had been training my kitty cat;
      dressing kitty like a scary queen,
         at the moment inside a pumpkin she sat.
  The idea was that when kids knocked and I opened the door,
  that kitty would jump out of the pumpkin and loudly roar;
                        we had rehearsed over and o'er,
  but instead she whispered  m e o w  on Halloween.
