Halloween Curmudgeon!

I have no beef with Halloween per se

Tho' 'tis like a vast guv-mint giveaway

'Tis a scheme to spread the wealth

As kids shake me down with stealth

I aim to keep socialism at bay

Great entry, Sarge. Enjoyed. Belated Happy 80th Birthday. Many happy returns. Sorry I can't make tonight's shindig (not that I was invited) but I'll be there in spirit. Ha Ha! Thanks for your kind words on my offering. Good luck and enjoy the party. Best to you and Vera. Ralph/Una.

Hey Bob, halloween is not such huge deal over here in Cape Town but there is a few people that go crazy over it. ;) Probably because its almost summer as well. I enjoy reading about it though
