Halloween
The harvest moon ascends All Hallows Eve,
we get ready for Halloween to come-
One night a year we can dress and deceive,
“I have candy sweet kids! Come and get some!”
My daughter got Snickers, Sweet Tarts and gum.
Creepy clowns, vampires and scary witches-
Skeletons with x-ray bones and stitches,
then there’s that ol’ sharp Edward Scissorhands-
Orange and black lights that always switches.
All year this terrifying night is planned!
