Halfway

Halfway

Halfway to your house
I turn back
Low hanging leaves sweep the ground
Half way to your heart
Mine stops
But I’m not alone
Make a way
A path down to lovers lane

Make it through the night
A savior await us
Call the young and the brave

Diamond rain
Falls upon our faces

I won’t walk too far off

I’ll find comfort and joy
In my happy place
