The countryside is as delectable as an apple pie, feel free to dip in and enjoy a slice of my world , quote by poet
When I need to relax and seek quiet meditation I head for the countryside without any hesitation My weekend retreat’s perched on top of the hill far away from the city, it’s so peaceful and still The picturesque lake is such a tranquil scene with the mountains reflected it looks so serene Cool fresh mountain air is like a soothing balm I’m at one with nature, I’m content and calm Writing Prompt - Calm - Poetry Contest Sponsored by Constance La France 05/14/21

Well thought and done, Jan! For years, doctors have been telling people to avoid the sun but now science has clearly established the benefits to our health and especially our eyesight, to get out and enjoy Mother Nature! Good luck in the contest! Aloha! Rico

Sound simply exquisite Jan, you live in a lovely place, though I’ve never been to the Isle of Man I'd like to get there to see it one day. Fabulous write and quote too… Belle x

There is no better place Jan, love your quote, just back from the New Forest, had a lovely week apart from a bit of rain, lovely to see the wild ponies. Hope you're well. Tom

Very clever and wonderful imagery my friend. Nature doesn't like me very much so I tend to stay close to home but it sounds great. Stay well.

we are so lucky living on a beautiful safe little island, we don't need to have a place to escape to we have a golden beach 5 minutes walk away and glorious countryside 5 minutes in the opposite direction:-) hugs Jan xx
