Your great haiku "hoary pinky Proteus" examines metamorphosis, identity, and fluidity. The name "Proteus," a Greek mythological character who could alter form, symbolizes versatility. The phrase "hoary pinky Proteus" may suggest elderly or wisdom, contrasted with "pinky," which may indicate purity and fragility. The main themes are age and youth, permanence and transience, and identity complexity. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks Ghairo

ThkU 4 insightful read & comment, Sotto. I do appreciate you. Yes, I love the way Proteus can change. It matches the many varieties of protea we have here. X
