Thank you Susan! I've seen a four foot long muskellunge basking in the shallows with the otherwise huge carp, I get the 'sport' ;) xomo!

Aw Thank You Mick! I figured you'd love it or hate it. And I Love that word, has epic feel, "muskellunge snaps line" so silky eloquent but didn't have same snap. Thank you for stirring my muse, you're a tough one to write for ;) xomo!

Interesting work. I will have to look up musky and see what fish that is. Fishing with a bamboo cane pole is fun. It has been a long time since I did that. Thanks for all the visits to my page. Sara

Muskelunge, BIG FISH :) It's the biggest fish in these parts. I haven't fished in years, got tired of putting holes in faces just for fun. I'll gladly cook what the boys bring home though. Thank you for the visit! xomo

I have caught many a muskie in my day, and my son caught a 30-incher one day on Sebago Lake ... they are great fighters! (I miss fishing with my boy - I tried to go by myself one day, but it just was not the same). Wonderful Haiku, Mo - love it! :-) <3

Thank you so much! I knew I'd angle some anglers with this one ;) If I did still have arms and a desire to put holes in fishes' faces for sport I would so totally go musky fishing. Have been blessed to see a 4' musky basking in the shallows of the inlet off the canal SO IMPRESSIVE! Dwarfing the otherwise massive Carp I was there to see. <3 xomo!
