Who needs a rooster when you have blue jays? Nice take on the haiku, MD. I can relate, having camped in Yosemite where blue jays rule the kingdom! Congrats ~ John

Thank you for the kind comment. I’ve also enjoyed much time in and around Yosemite. There, it is the Stellar jay that rules. Also, commonly sighted is the Scrub jay. Regards —MDJ

Hello MD Johnson, food is hard to find in winter and Spring. So there is a fight for food between the birds and the squirrels. Enjoy your day my friend.
