Gurkhas - Real Hero's

The Gurkha's, warriors from Nepal Who fought many battles, where many fell They gave their lives To a cause far from home To protect and serve the British Throne We seem to admit so many immigrant races Who take the places of many Gurkha faces These Real Hero's won the Victoria Cross To fight and serve their British Boss Having served our country, they are sent back home Some have no house, they can only roam The campaign for settlement, not a lot to ask As they fought for us, a quite incredible task. The Second World War and the Falklands too But not just these two conflicts, but for centuries two Their are many regiments in armies of this world Who would be proud to have, these Gurkha's serve Our government act for the people We vote them in, if there able Its time they did whats right and just Gurkha's to be Nationals, its a credible must.

Nice Rhyme. I will have to look up the Gurkha to see exactly what they are though. Keep writing. Sara
