Gunnoe

An algebra teacher of mine named Gunnoe
Sometimes tippled and was often a no-show
A clever fellow he
Was laid back as could be
When they fired him he had nowhere else to go.

Gunnoe is a name, as you've taught me. I have to laugh. (Obviously I'm not a French Hugenot type). I equated it with 'Dumbo' at first. Oh, well. So much for my 'name recognition.' lol. ~ gw

Oh well, what can I say? His first name was even more obscure. I've only heard on it once in my life, but I dare not share it publicly...I'd probably get sued! LOL

Unless related to something of substance, sounds like he was as empty as his numbers and signs. Good one, Milt. Great message!

He was definitely vacant! Thanks for your read, Joe.

Oh, that part was fiction. Delice, we had his number. We had a system set up where he would give us the answers to the problems on the tests. Actually, he was brilliant, but he was always tired and sleepy. I can remember learning only one theorem...the first one.

LOVE this, Milton, and its true, yes truth always better than fiction, and so much more fun.

Thanks, harry. It certainly is a true picture of my teacher Gunnoe...although I may have stretched it just a wee.

He was, without question, the worst teacher I ever had!
