Guidepost
In life,
friends do cross my path,
I will show them love, one and all,
the kind that will always last, an' never fall!
In life,
we march down the road together,
for you all, I am not a sign, nor a ditch to circumnavigate,
ye guidepost I be to assimilate!
I am the guidepost up ahead,
brought about to question
the vigor of our direction,
to rebel suddenly, in life's reflection,
Ye guidepost I be!
not sinking in shallow thoughts,
grab the reins to pull you along,
a lantern of light, shining so strong!
