Notes About The Poem

People have a mistaken idea about people who become Christians... they
say, that it is a crutch or others will say, oh, it won't last, you'll see.

Walking with Jesus Christ is not an easy task, if you are going to have a
faithful walk in life with HIM, it takes a total surrender of your will to HIM,
and an obedience that will always come first.

Guess Who Moved

Guess Who Moved

When I first met my Savior
so happy it made me to be,
talking and sharing Him wherever I would go
He was always right next to me.

Then and only for a while
other things took first place in my heart,
till I recognized that I’d left my first love
and knew for Him I would have to make a fresh start.

We serve an awesome God
so gracious and always ready for a repentant soul to forgive,
but know that He expects in us a willing spirit
and a more holy life for Him should we live.

Now, His face I continually seek
and His footsteps I follow oh so close,
for I don’t want to lose track of Him
only to travel down some other dead end road.

You know it is easy to be distracted
and to go another way,
but we don’t have to ever fear if we will surrender and humble ourselves
He is ready to hear all of our prayers.
