Guarding Her Vault

The sphinx holds secrets, meant to remain secret. Ancient secrets, alchemy, are not meant for uneducated minds. Those ignorant of this ancient lifestyle, must never know the secrets. Modern minds are incapable of controlling, modern technology; ignorance and overconfidence, can destroy universes; such has been, too many times before. Past civilizations, on the road to techno-marvels, self-destructed; Atlantis, Mu, Lemuria, are among them… cowering beneath Neptune’s waters. Tthe human species, pursues destruction, more than anything else. Sphinx is wise, to protect her vault. When the species, collectively realizes it’s own failings, Sphinx will divulge the combination, to unlock her vault.

Great paradox, "Modern minds are incapable of controlling modern technology..."Human beings have always, and shall always suffer greatly as a natural consequence of limited "vision". Civilization and apocalypse always spawn one another, its a truly beautiful relationship Kiser. I like the mystery and suspense in your work, and the direct implications for your readers. J.A.B.

Then look to the feet of the said Sphinx, is the door there that many have stared. Love this piece, James :) :)
