Grumpy Ana's Christmas Dream

‘Twas Christmas Eve, and grumpy Ana had a crazy dream. She dreamed she was a tot on Christmas! She and her sis had been bad, so presents from their dad were not a lot! The decorations were not on the tree. There were no snack cans either with their treat. Her mom made a dessert. Unhappily, Ana screamed, "Drat such custard! I won’t eat!” A pup appeared and Ana sighed, “O God. I did not want a dog,” but then with awe, she watched it getting small. She yelled, “Go dog, and don’t come back! Was it a cat I saw?” AHA! The dog had turned into a cat! She woke up with her usual doom mood. “Bursitis rub,” whined Ana, “I need that, and just a tuna nut for Christmas food.” Oct. 22, 2018 for Joseph May's Palindromes Ii - Update Poetry Contest

You sure rose up to the challenge, Andrea! Not only using palindromes, but also doing it in rhyme. // My fav one in Latin classes: "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas" (suitable for a racing driver :) Regards // paul
