Why I love this crow/leaf image Maureen dates back to when I was young (we've already talked about "Psycho"), but my parents were very strict, yet also very liberal. My Mum let us watch "The Birds". It scared me more than Psycho ever could. Before military traveling became a way of life, I lived twice in a house my folks owned for awhile. It was from the early 1800s. After watching "The Birds" I refused to go upstairs to bed alone because of the old attic and creaking wood knowing there would be birds LOL!!!

From that I get to this. Have you ever seen Monty Python's "Meaning of Life" Maureen? When they begin the section about death, there is a tree thats leaves have changed. I don't remember the exact wording, but you hear a voice of a girl saying, "Mummie, no mummie." A single leaf jiggles and with a scream drops off the tree. Then several others: a husband to a wife, etc... But then you hear multiple screams and all of the leaves drop off at one time lol.

My feet always get cold but I'd be wearing shorts; especially to see how I imagine your wonderful wording of a crow leaves tree. Sounds certainly like a murder of crows.

That image delightfully haunts my memory, had them roost in the trees around my house one winter's eve a few years ago. Captivated, I stood in awe, entreated to their gentle coos, until my feet got too cold. Thank you my friend! xomo
