Grounding

Mist covered tall trees
Myna on a wire
Sunshine mugged by clouds
Smoke of factory
Road snaking uphill

Cold numb fingers
Chill wind on face
Dry thirsty throat
Eyes yearning more

Humming wind
Rustling leaves
My breathing

Wet soil
Wet wood

Bread

nice progression, Thriveni... I like the random alliteration too. My imagination soars to fix a more concrete scenario and I settle on a difficult trip walking home enjoying various sensations and finally hunger satisfied at home. Thanks for a beautiful hexaverse.
