Greetings Earthlings

I come in peace ...
Me not like movie “Alien”
I not born in a pod,
Me be no Gen. Zod
My spaceship no scout
for any Death Star squad
I come from afar ...
Me seek intelligent life
Crash landed on Earth,
lost all proof of ill-fated flight
Your human generosity
has brightened up my dark plight
Thanks for the “Get Well Soon” card,
received from your psychiatric nurse wife

Connie Marcum Wong June 25, 2017 at 10:17 PM The title of your poem caught my eye Freddie. Last night we saw a UFO in the night sky. It looked like a star or blinking plane but was flying erratically in the sky like no aircraft could...very bizarre. I enjoyed your poem. : )
