Greetings

They took away my peacenik beads and things I like to puff. My bell bottom worn out jeans, blue, with paisley cuffs. Head to toe in olive drab, taught me how to march. shaved my head, learned ways to kill, two years without my fluff.

This reminds me so much of the 70's musical "Hair" with Treat Williams. I am cheering you on; if this is true, and I do believe it is; thank you for serving. You have my admiration and respect. This poem shows us the diversification between the peace-loving hippies, and the soldiers who had no choice but to do what they were ordered.

Lovely imagery ringing of the early 70's - succinct and beautifully done, Charlie.
