Greeting a Revolution

Farewell to any and all privacy
Greetings to hordes of old friends
                 knocking at my door

         Overnight, a revolution of expectations
              Most bound to go unrealized

Never knowing whether to sigh or outright cry
For I’ve just won the Lottery

Hi Gershon, I’ve heard this actually happens to some lottery winners, people come out of the woodwork. There’s a documentary show, don’t remember which channel, titled,”Curse of the Lottery.” Some of the bad luck stories of some of the lottery winners were very sad. We quit buying multi-millions lottery tickets. Good poem writing. Lehit raot :)

Yep, winning the lottery could really screw things up! I like how that's left for the last line.
