Green To Red To Gold

As the days get shorter, and the nights get colder, and the leaves turn green, to, red to gold,
Let fall come slowly from hot to warm to cold,
Yet the heat makes me question is winter really coming or is climate change unfold,
We care for our nature, yet not enough to change our actions and we wonder if the white snow indulge,
The serenity of tomorrow, to devastation of extinction,
But who really knows,
Lives get shorter,
And the sun slowly blows
The moon looks closer,
And the water barely flows,
Hold on dear children reach out your hand,
Pretty soon with politics no one knows where to stand,
Luck knows no bounds,
We are nothing but a grain of sand on the beaches we call a universe,
We can't reduce or reverse,
Just enjoy the now of this oblivion.
