The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Green, Green, Grass with Mozzies

Green, Green, Grass with Mozzies. The old home town looks the same As I step down from the plane And there to meet me is a squadron of Mozzies Down the road they look and there runs James Scratching, scratching, Mozzie bites all aflame But it's good to see the green, green grass of home Yes, they've all come to greet me Wings buzzing, my blood so sweetly But it's good to see the green, green, grass of home The old house is still standing Though the paint is cracked and dry And there's that old palm tree that I used to play on Down the road they look and there runs James Scratching, scratching, Mozzie bites aflame But it's good to see, the green, green, grass of home Then I awake and look around me At the four walls that surround me And I see that I haven't been dreaming For in front of me there's a Pharmacy Lassie Offering creams for biting Mozzies But it's good to see the green, green grass of home Yes, they still come to greet me, as I sit under my favourite palm tree Beside the green, green, grass of home. Written to the tune of the 'Green Green Grass of Home' - Tom Jones.
