Green
A sassy lass hailing from Dover
was asked by her beau to come over
for a roll in the hay,
but she said right away,
“I’d much rather roll in some clover!
You should know green’s the hue of my soul,”
she continued, “but I’ll take a roll,
if no clover is seen,
on ‘most anything green -
dollar bills or a nice grassy knoll!”
