Greed and Love
She sipped the last drop from her cup
He no longer had the intention to fill it
He fulfilled her every dream, her every desire
He tested her
She never gave him what he needed.
True love
Her greed grew til she no longer saw him
But only what he could give
She never looked at his need for love
But only her wants of worldly things
She wasn't the prettiest girl
He could have found others
But he loved her
His love was immense and deep
She took advantage
His heart was long broken
But he fed her desires so he could see her smile
One day his heart broke
She sipped the last drop of his love
And he left
Never to look back at the girl
The girl who he spent his life loving
He walked and never loved again
