Grass
Stand and wave tall, slender, blades of envy
While through you blow, the cool spring wind
Thick carpet of ever changing pattern,
One day, I will become a part of you
As time takes toll, upon my wooden tree
Releasing me to be absorbed by you
As a part of you, I shall wait for the cool spring wind
To blow me to and fro
To be moistened by a summer shower
To become the background for a flower
Free from the cares of a dull, drab world
Like a flag to wave in the wind unfurled
