Sadly, 3 of my 4 grandparents passed when I was very young, I had only my dad's dad, but he lived to 90 - very nice poem, Line!

Dear Michelle, I wish everyone felt the closeness that I had with my grand-mother. It was only from age 3 to 9 but it was obviously life transforming. As we age we get a chance to make an impact on kids whether we are actual grand-parents or not.

Sigh. If only the grandchildren could drive the car to grandma's house! That is the only problem, Line. I have to agree we are the best, however, some as parents were also the best.
