Grandmother's Blanket

"Now" she's eating her cheerios, one-by-one 
She sits in a three ring circle with her friends 
Warmth, she is, by the rays of the morning's sun 
Her hair in ponytails all curled with loose ends

Playing, real life, with her friends (two) "Teddy Bear"

She made it for her granddaughter, years ago

He too will eat them one by one within an hour while he plays. Then I thought of my grandma that I loved dearly as I too own and cherish. She had put a lot of hours into making it. .
