Grandmother

A grandmother- she is a mother blessed
     with life that comes from her times two.
          Her precious children pass on her genes 
               to new life via theirs with chosen mates. 
                    Again, she can cradle newborns with love,
                    assist to nourish and shape their growth;
               resurge the joys of motherhood, matured.
          Being close or far away, her faithful love,
     patience and generosity are special gifts
for dear grandkids- each one, a blessing.
