(Inspired Pinterest Pin)...Dedicated To Margaret Toht
I HUNG THESE CURTAINS,
I LIVED HERE ONCE,
I'M CERTAIN,
THE FLOORS WERE WAXED,
THE DISHES SHINED,
I RESIDED HERE,
HAPPILY,
FOR QUITE SOME TIME.
MY SOUL SLEEPS UNDER THE WINDOW'S PANE,
THE SINK CALLING ME,
AT SUPPER TIME,
I STILL SMELL THE ROSES,
I PLANTED OUTSIDE,
LORD,
JUST PLEASE,
LET IT RAIN,
JUST NOT INSIDE.
