Grain of Sand - Haiku

Grain Of Sand – Haiku wind gathers, fills dune grain of sand hides, rock covers desert cries, missing NOTE: from the author - This poem hopes to become a full length motion picture one day, in Technicolor. It would have a cast of billions of miniscule sand particles but one of the grains went missing. The desert is still weeping dry tears, (a/k/a “Desert tears”) we implore you to return it if you find it. “Every grain of sand is precious.” is our motto. ES

WOW, this is one of the best haiku I ever read. Believe me I've read so many and scanned so many. At one time, the Haiku was my favorite form, cause one can make a mountain out of a grain of salt. I'm just saying, the imagery here is living deep and large. So precious the vast and it's missing link, Earl thanks for adding the bottom note. By the way I like the words “Desert tears” --have a nice one..PD

Hi Linda, Thank you so much for your kind words and visiting my little grain of sand. I thought it might become overlooked in the grand scheme, the grand enormity of things. Have a sunny day. Earl
