Gossamer wings atop currents of air are perfect canvases for Nature's art; No finer paintings exist anywhere. I wish I could pause time within my heart, and freeze-frame the beauty She chose to share. A caterpillar, though an ugly thing, now beautifies life wherever it goes. Emerging from its chrysalis, late spring; A butterfly is a sprite with new clothes befitting that of a Queen or a King. Its translucent scales diffract the sunlight, letting colors of every hue and shade feed beauty's insatiable appetite. And although, in time, butterflies will fade, It's eye candy to see them in flight. I'm left with a sense of admiration for the artist who colored this painting. Admiring Nature's Imagination, I can feel my anxiety draining into a feeling of fascination.
