I wish I could pause time within my heart, and freeze-frame the beauty I chose to share. A caterpillar, though an ugly thing, now beautifies scenes wherever it goes. Emerging from its chrysalis, late spring; a butterfly, like a sprite, dons new clothes, befitting that of a Queen or a King. Clear translucent scales diffract the sunlight; so that colors of every hue and shade feed beauty's insatiable appetite. And although, in time, their beauty will fade, it's like eye candy to watch them in flight. I stand in awe of Nature's creation; finding butterflies so entertaining. And capturing my imagination, I can feel my anxiety draining, into a feeling of fascination.
