This life....
                                  It is but a gossamer drama
                                a transient moment snatched
                                          from Eternity
                                till twilight, brief and cheerless
                             claims our hearts and sets us free
                                        impatient for our 
                                          immortality...

I read this a couple of different ways, a bit happy and a bit not so happy, but regardless it still made me think and I like that. I love your word usage and how you expressed your thoughts in this wonderful poem. Really nice Sheila.
