Goofballs
Humans are such a combative lot
It's why we're under so much stress
We act like a bunch of goofballs
Little wonder the world's such a mess
Why can't we all just get along?
Don't get it, it's really too much
The pundits say it's human nature
Throw up their hands in disgust
Been like this since the very beginning
Nations fighting nations for more
Wonder if us guys could really survive
Without destruction, killings, or war
Do you think we'll ever see the day
When we live in harmony with each other?
There's not a freaking chance in hell
We'll just go on killing our brothers!
