Good While It Lasted-

It was good while it lasted The grass is always greener after the fire it was good while it lasted Skyscrapers touching stomach of the clouds Winds whistling loud it was good while it lasted The early spring morning Bird singing, flowers glowing Until this Sun... Burning scorching covered by the clouds Thunder and lightning surrounded the crowd And the picnic had to end For the rain began Storms coming thunder and lightning People running to their cars Frightened by the storm the change of the weather Quickly they drive home They were saddened... it was good while it lasted
