Christmas bells ring tidings of cheer
neighbors greet neighbors with a smile
and folks are friendly for a while.
It's a magical time of year
when snowflakes tumble from the sky
and ornaments dazzle the eye.
Carolers sing out strong and clear
their voices sounding oh so sweet
in shopping malls or on the street.
Announcing Santa Claus is near,
his bag overflowing with toys
for all the little girls and boys.
With Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
guiding his sleigh this Christmas Eve,
Santa's getting ready to leave.
